My Project
My students lost invaluable learning opportunities when school as we know it was impacted by the COVID-19 global pandemic. For some, they are now 2-3 years behind grade-level standards mastery in both mathematical reasoning and reading fluency and comprehension.
Help me close the gap from pandemic learning loss with independent math and literacy learning centers!
We know there is a lot of ground to cover as we provided targeted intervention support, but let's make learning fun in the process! These engaging folder games and board games will promote social interaction and knowledge sharing as my class practices critical foundational skills in learning centers. Independent practice gives me an opportunity to work one-to-one and in small groups with students who need extra support.
The small pen tablet will allow me to engage in more skills practice when I hold virtual class as I will be able to write on the digital screen with ease (using a mouse to write is very difficult).
