Help me give my students daily practice journals to support their reading performance.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Adams's classroom raised $198

My Students
At our Title I school with students who come from low-income or high-poverty homes, students are faced with challenges in and outside of the classroom. All of the students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch. Sometimes these meals are all that they may get for the day. Some of the students who are out our school face homelessness, live in shelters, motels, or are living with family members or friends.
Despite the obstacles that our students face, they show up to school (or on Zoom) with a smile on their faces and are excited to learn!
My Project
My students have been working so very hard to learn how to read and comprehend what they’ve read. This can sometimes be challenging for them but they continue to put forth their best efforts. I would like to give them a daily activity journal that they would be able to use to help them with their reading.
These journals will provide students with an opportunity to practice what they have been learning on their own.
Each student would receive their own daily activity journal. They would be able to see how much progress that they have made!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
