This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are some of the best and brightest students in the school. Students in our school are typically are immigrants or children of immigrants with language barriers which require lots of dedication and patience to surpass that are labeled gifted and talented and are on the academic journey to be pushed above their ability levels this year. Our class is full of project based learning and academic rigor. I plan to challenge this group of students to be successful thinkers, readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists and friends.
My Project
My third grade gifted students are some of the best and brightest for their age! They were placed in this class specifically to be challenged. They deserve to have authentic, educational materials to help them practice their reading skills being taught in reading, writing and grammar.
By donating to our project, you will not only help students in my class become better readers, but they will also get to practice their grammar skills to become better writers!
These task cards and white board will complete our reading centers for reading workshop and give kids a meaningful way to practice reading skills at any time of the day.
