Practice Makes Perfect: Keeping Cursive Alive and Fun!
My students need dry erase ruled lapboards, Expo dry erase markers, and dry erase board erasers for their cursive lessons. Gel pens, Twistable colored pencils, and a cursive inspirational quotes practice book will make practicing fun!
My students are a diverse group of amazing individuals. They come from loving homes with involved parents. My students are a curious bunch who love learning and sharing their ideas. I am frequently in awe of how willing they are to share their learning with their peers and how effective it is when they are able to teach each other.
Many of my students speak English as a second language.
Some are even fortunate enough to be able to read and write in their primary language!
These children constantly surprise me with their compassion and kindness for each other! These kids are growing up to be our future leaders. Learning to be creative and think critically will help them be the best leaders they can be!
My Project
My students are always eager to learn how to read and write in cursive.
To my students, learning cursive is like learning a secret code language that gives them access to the hidden messages of grown-up writing!
Dry erase boards, Expo dry erase markers, and erasers offer my students a fun, non-threatening way to learn and practice cursive. As we learn each new letter, students are able to try and try again without wasting paper. As they are learning, they are able to erase their mistakes with ease and practice until they are happy with their results.
Once they are more confident and steady in their cursive, they need to practice, practice, practice. The Cursive Writing Inspirational Quotes Reproducible book used with the gel pens and Twistable colored pencils will make practicing cursive much more fun for my students. When they are using "fancy" gel pens and colored pencils, my students slow down and take their time to make their cursive writing look beautiful. I know that my students will love to show off their cursive writing with these tools!
