I was so excited when this project was funded. These supplies have helped me create math games for my students to use to work on their math facts and number sense. The colorful paper makes the game pieces easier to distinguish from the game boards and more engaging for the students. Having a laminator in the classroom made preparing these games so much easier--especially when I find a new game that I want to use and don't have tons of time to prepare it.\r\n I am beyond grateful for donors like you who help me provide my students with the supplies we don't have funding for. I am beyond amazed at your generosity! Without your support, we would not have been able to purchase the Ozobot Kit--we would have been lucky to get a couple of individual Ozobots to take turns with. Our kit included 16 \"Evo\" Ozobots, coding directions and keys, and color coding markers. Having this kit means that that students can work in pairs when programing and get more hands-on time with the robots. They are planning and problem solving like pros!\r\n When the Ozobots arrived, we were thrilled. The students couldn't wait to get started. We have been able to learn the basics of coding with markers and the block code in the Ozoblocky program that came with our kit. The students are literally teaching me how to program our bots with the Chromebooks! The excitement and joy on their faces when they get to \"play\" with the Ozobots is incredible. \r\n Please know that your donation made a huge difference in our classroom and in the students' learning about coding, problem solving, collaborating, and learning through play.
