My Project
I am requesting workbooks to help students learn sight words (high-frequency words) so that they can learn to read. Sight words are words that do not follow traditional spelling patterns and must be memorized. These words also are high-frequency words because they appear often in books and stories. The sooner my students know these words, the sooner they will be readers! These workbooks will be used in my class by students in small groups or homework to practice and review the words.
Your donation will help me to build fluent readers by memorizing and practicing their sight words with these workbooks.
I hope to inspire the love of reading in them that my teachers gave me. Your donation will help to create a group of little people that love to read!
