My Students

This school is a middle city school with many different economic and cultural backgrounds.
My athletes are asked to provide supplies which might be financially hard for them to get. Our school is a Title I school, and every bit of donation goes a long way. Our athletes are driven to always do their best, but they struggle. They need financial and emotional support from their community to help them meet their true potential.
My Project
Our girls work really hard all year to keep themselves in top academic and athletic shape. We are focusing on making sure we are ready to dominate the court by practicing our shots, our positions, and our athletic stamina. These athletes are amazing. They also need help.
Our athletic budget is very small, so it is difficult to receive new equipment.
We are requesting new pinnies for practice because ours are very old and have holes, rips, or are missing. We are also requesting some knee support braces for all the times we bump and tumble over each other. Lastly, we need hair ties. I don't know how many times my girls have asked me for these. I want to be able to hand them out as they need them for practice.
