This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am so excited to facilitate the drum line after-school program. I will be serving 4th through 6th grade by teaching them how to read basic music and rudiments by teaching them how to play the drums.
I am so excited to not have my students just practice on tables, but on a proper surface that resembles a marching drum.
I have experience in marching band, and I will try my best to pass along the knowledge I have. I am so amazed at how amazingly dedicated and committed my students are with percussion, so I would love to provide them everything they need to be successful and to reach their full potential.
