I teach the most amazing students who need multiple ways to see an idea or theme to make it stick! I live in a highly military area. Students leave and join us on a regular basis. We have a high number of students receiving free and reduced lunch. We are gearing up our 21st-century learning and these students need to mix tried and true teaching strategies with new kinds of technology. Help them conquer their goal by giving them these materials.
My Project
Let's face it getting ready for testing time isn't fun! Especially in the 5th grade. Three major Standardized tests make school boring. So I want to change that.
Students have to study, but I think they should have fun doing it!
I requested some fun ways for students to review skills. Classroom buzzers will get students in the game playing mode. Fly swatters will be used to review vocabulary words. When all the games are done who doesn't like a prize. Stickers and brain games will be the prizes for the winners. All kids want to make learning fun regardless of their age.
