Help me give my students a subscription to the online PowerMyLearning Family Engagement Innovators program so they can share what they learn at school with their family at home.
I teach twenty-five happy and excited-to-learn third graders, and all day long they have fun growing and thinking, and trying their best. Our school is a wonderful, small multicultural school located in Los Angeles. Approximately 30% of our students school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, and everyone receives free breakfast.
Our school specializes in integrating art and technology with our academic subjects.
My students learn best when I generate excitement for learning. My students want to work online and share their excitement for learning at home with their family.
My Project
Imagine a mom asking her child, "What did you do at school today?" The third grader from my class will be able to say, "Let's go online to the PowerMyLearning Family Engagement Innovators program so I can teach you." Our class would love to participate in this online program that already has PowerMyLearning's Family Playlists. These playlists are easy-to-use programs that are accessible on mobile phones, chromebooks, iPads, and laptops.
The Family Playlists will allow my students to share what they have learned at school with their family.
The playlists are filled with math, science, and language arts content appropriate to my third grade students.
Having a subscription to the online program will be a very exciting part of my students' learning. The best way to show that you have mastered a concept is to teach someone else. With a subscription to this program, my students will be able to share their knowledge with their families at home.
