This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an incredible group of middle school scientists at a Title 1 school where all students qualify for 100% free lunch. Despite the challenges they face, my students are curious, determined, and eager to explore the world of science. They thrive when given hands-on, interactive learning opportunities, but limited resources make it difficult to provide them with the tools they need to succeed.

With your support, we can equip our classroom with essential technology and organization tools to enhance their learning.

A laptop will allow students to conduct research, run science simulations, and engage with digital lessons. A printer and printer stand will ensure they have access to lab reports, worksheets, and project materials. A cart will help us keep supplies organized and accessible, and a mouse will improve usability for students working on digital projects.

My goal is to create a well-equipped, student-centered science classroom where every learner has the resources they need to engage deeply with scientific concepts. Your generosity will help break down barriers and provide my students with the tools they need to grow, explore, and succeed. Thank you for supporting the next generation of scientists!
