My students have a student of the week and something we have done really well in is celebrating when a friend earns a prize. We use the prize wheel to allow them the opportunity to gain a special prize. My students love participating in ASL cheer, the cheese-grater cheer, snap-clap cheer, and overall celebrating their successes throughout the classroom. \r\n\r\nThe printer has made it easier for me to quickly print out their certificates in our super improvers chart. I can create quick homework or practice assignments on there. It has helped them learn how we can take care of items and why they are important tools in the classroom. Our pencil sharpener has allowed for us to have minimal distractions as the noise is much less than other sharpeners. \r\n\r\nMy a/c went out for a day and using my small cart to roll around our clipboards and materials was essential for adapting to the randomness that can hit a classroom. My bookshelves help me differentiate which books students should be reading and at their level. All the games we received have overwhelmingly helped my students practice sharing, understanding turns, and engaging in minimizing conflicts. Its wonderful to see all these amazing things that your donations have done for me and I couldn't be more appreciative.
