This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a teacher, I’m always trying to grow—because when I grow, my students benefit. Whether I’m researching new strategies to support my English Language Learners or finding creative ways to make literature come alive, I’m constantly learning. A reliable laptop will give me the flexibility to explore professional development opportunities that I often can’t access otherwise—like online workshops, virtual conferences, and instructional videos from experts in the field.

With upgraded technology, I can stay on top of what’s working in classrooms around the country and bring fresh ideas into my own.

I’ll use this laptop to complete trainings on differentiated instruction, culturally responsive teaching, and tech integration—skills that are crucial for reaching the diverse learners I serve every day.

More importantly, I’ll be able to apply what I learn in real time: creating interactive lessons, organizing resources more efficiently, and giving students timely, meaningful feedback. I also want to grow in data tracking and instructional planning—two areas where I know tech can help me work smarter and support students more effectively.

My students deserve the very best of me—and this laptop will help me continue to show up as a more prepared, more inspired, and more connected educator. Your support won’t just help me—it’ll help every student who walks through my door.
