The students on the robotics team are incredibly dedicated and hardworking. The robotics team offers opportunities for students to engage in hands-on skills such as manufacturing, computer programming, and engineering, as well as fundraising and community outreach experiences. Throughout the year, the students spend hundreds of hours designing, building, and programming the robot for competition.
The battery chargers we currently have are old and inefficient and can only charge a single battery at a time.
At our last competition, they didn't work at all, and we were lucky enough to have another team offer to help us out.
These new chargers would be part of a new mobile charging station we are building, which would ensure that there is always a fresh battery ready to go during build time and at the competition.
