My Project
In our classroom, students learn the complexities of higher level functions, from graphing to solving equations. The challenge we are running into - not the math itself, but the outdated calculators we're using.
Right now, my students rely on old TI-84 calculators that run on disposable batteries.
More often than not, they die at the worst possible moment - right before a big test or in the middle of an important lesson. This causes use to lose precious learning time searching for spare calculators or batteries. These updated calculators will allow my students to focus on learning instead of worrying about whether their device will hold up.
These calculators are not only used in my class, but also on state testing for EOCs, Workkeys, ACT, etc. Rechargeable calculators can make the difference in saving prep time for these huge, state level assessments.
