I work with an amazing group of students who are motivated to learn about and explore the world around them. Their drive to learn about our Earth and investigate the way things work has motivated me as a teacher and made my transition to a new school a truly life-changing event.

I have students who constantly want to revise work, stay for help, and complete extra work to increase their grasp of new concepts. I am so excited to see the projects and work that continues to grow in the minds of my students.
My Project
We need batteries and supplies to help power our labs for the remainder of the year. We have been lucky enough to spend most of this school year in person and doing LOTS of labs, which is such a change from many of my student's experiences last year.
My 8th graders have been excited and invested in labs after almost a year of limited hands-on activities.
They are happy each day that they walk in and a lab is laid out and ready to complete as many as I can fit into the curriculum. These supplies will allow all of my classes to complete dozens of labs and activities to enhance their 8th grade science experience.
