My Project
I’m a first-year computer science teacher in a school where over 93% of my students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. These incredible learners arrive each day full of curiosity, determination, and a collaborative drive to solve problems. To empower their creativity and focus, I’m requesting essential classroom supplies—pencils, pens, markers, crayons, highlighters, sticky notes, notebooks, graph and printer paper, dry-erase markers and erasers, tissues, and disinfecting wipes. These basics allow students to sketch algorithms, take notes, brainstorm coding solutions, and stay healthy throughout the school day. I’m also excited to include an Epson EcoTank ET‑2980 Wireless All‑in‑One Color Supertank printer in our lab. This printer comes with enough refillable ink to print up to 6,600 black and 5,500 color pages, eliminating cartridge costs and ensuring uninterrupted access to vibrant worksheets, coding diagrams, student portfolios, and lesson handouts.
With reliable, high-quality printouts, students can better visualize abstract programming concepts, collaborate on group projects, and present their work with pride.
These tools together create an equitable, organized, and joyful learning environment, empowering every student, regardless of background, to explore, innovate, and succeed in computer science.
Thank you for helping us power their possibilities!
