This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As educator, I strive to provide the best possible education for our students. To do so, it's essential that I continue to develop my skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities. Our school recognizes the importance of teacher training and offers excellent in-person and online PD programs. These trainings not only help me stay updated on best practices but also enables me to tailor my teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students.

I know that by investing in my professional growth, I'll be able to unlock new ways of teaching and learning that will benefit my students for years to come.

I'll be able to create more personalized, engaging, and effective lessons that cater to their unique needs and abilities.

I'm eager to expand my expertise and enhance my teaching skills through online trainings. This summer, I'm committed to upgrading my skills, which requires me to complete online classes. However, with our school's technology return policy at the end of the year, I won't have access to a laptop to attend these classes and I risk falling behind and missing out on this opportunity to enhance my teaching skills.

I'm not just asking for a laptop for myself, but for the chance to make a real difference in the lives of my students. By helping me acquire a laptop, you'll be investing in my professional growth. With my upgraded skills and knowledge, I'll be able to create more engaging and personalized learning experiences, ultimately benefiting our students' academic success and well-being.
