This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students do not come from the wealthiest families. They do not have the best things. They are low-income, immigrant families, mainly from Spanish-speaking countries. They work hard and care about education.

We live in NY and go to a NYC public school.

They try their best every day. The students all get free lunch and most of the supplies they have are the basics; pencils, paper, book bags and the supplies needed for daily school life. I try to supply as much as I can to lift the burden of money from the families.

My Project

We just got a class set of Chromebooks. The only problem is we do not have enough places to charge them. The three surge protectors and power strips will allow the students to rotate and have full power in order to use their technology.

As we all know you need to use technology to get ahead and stay ahead in this world.

We need your help to get the power supply to charge our devices. These power strips will allow the computers to be used all the time in different areas of the classroom. It will provide the opportunity for the students to be able to use the classroom technology as a class and not just individually.
