This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Providing a laptop, books, and educational supplies for our students will significantly enhance their learning experience by giving them access to the tools they need to succeed. These children are special because they come from underprivileged backgrounds in Harlem, where resources are scarce, yet their enthusiasm for learning is boundless. They deserve these materials because they have the potential to thrive with the right support. Items like word-building flashcards will aid in literacy development, helping children learn new words, improve spelling, and enhance their language skills. Magnetic tiles will not only foster creativity but also help them develop crucial literacy and problem-solving skills, setting a strong foundation for their future. The feelings chart will help students express and understand their emotions, promoting emotional intelligence and a supportive classroom environment.

The laptop will provide access to digital resources, and interactive learning sites, and help students build basic tech skills.

By providing them with these essential learning tools and a clean, safe environment you're giving them more than just supplies—you're giving them a chance to dream bigger, to explore the world beyond their neighborhood, and to build a future they can be proud of. They deserve this chance, and with your help, we can make it a reality.
