Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our elementary softball team, The Lioness, is made up of enthusiastic, hardworking young girls who are learning the value of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance through sports. However, we are in need of basic but essential equipment to help them grow and succeed on the field.
With your support, we hope to provide our team with catcher’s mitts, socks, equipment bags, and softballs.
These items will help our players stay safe, play confidently, and take pride in their roles—especially our catchers, who currently share worn-out gear. Uniform socks will help our team look and feel united, while personal bags will help our girls keep their gear organized and take ownership of their sport.
This project will not only give our team the tools they need, but it will also build self-esteem, team spirit, and a lifelong love of the game. Every donation brings us one step closer to a season full of learning, fun, and growth for The Lioness.
