This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having snacks, extra chargers, and a spare chromebook in my classroom will greatly support students’ concentration, energy levels, and ability to access what we are learning. Many of my students have chaotic home lives or transportation issues and may sometimes forget their chromebook or charger, so having extras in my room will allow everyone to access the material every day. Headphones allow students to view and listen to multimedia materials and also enables text-to-speech readaloud for students who benefit from that accommodation. I find that with these small items many more students can be successful, especially those students who need the extra support.
