Help me give my students the “power” they need to recharge their Chromebooks. Chromebooks have amazing battery life but many just do not last enough for a full academic day.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Although Chromebooks advertise all day power, most of our second hand Chromebooks rarely last the six hours they are needed on our campus. Also, many stay after school for free internet access, the vast majority of our students will need to plug in their chromebooks at somepoint in the day to recharge them.
To address this problem, I am requesting four long power strips and three set of cord covers to help declutter our wires and avoid creating safety hazards in my room.
I am also requesting 20 replacement Chromebooks chargers which have become high sought out commodity on my campus. Due to budget cuts our campus can't buy spare chromebook chargers.
