Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in our classroom and has helped create a space where students can move, create, collaborate, recharge, and learn.\r\n\r\nMy students have used the projectors to create and display posters about important historical events. Seeing their own work displayed around the classroom has given students a sense of pride and ownership in their learning. Instead of simply reading about history, they are creating something they can share with their classmates and be proud of.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating has also had a tremendous impact. Students use the wheel desk when they need a little more movement while working. This simple option helps students stay engaged, focused, and productive without disrupting the learning of others.\r\n\r\nOur calming corner chairs have been especially meaningful. When students feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or simply need a mental break, they have a designated place to pause, breathe, and reset. After taking that short break, students are often able to return to their work feeling calmer, refreshed, and ready to participate.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these resources have helped me build a classroom where students understand that learning can look different for everyone. They can work together, discuss ideas, draw, create, move, take a moment when needed, and come back ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping make our classroom a place where every student has the opportunity to feel successful, supported, and proud of their learning. With your donation we have gone from black and white a flat one dimensional classroom to a bright and inviting classroom. Your choice to give color to our classroom has been greatly appreciated by our students of South Gate Ca, the students look forward to create thoughtful meaningful historical artwork that they no longer have to wait days to print in color or pay from out of pockets at their local library. You have brought access to our classroom, not only access to the technology of a color printer but access to achieve and succeed without limitations. My students who struggle with engagement found the color printers an access to to learn and create, the creative process allowed them to enter the lesson with a more enthused perspective and a willingness to take in the academic material because they understood there would be a component to create with color and the access to their completed material would be instant rather than days because now we could say Donors Chose provided us with an in class color printer","fullyFundedDate":1769177714399,"projectUrl":"project/adding-color-to-history/9758664/","projectTitle":"Adding Color to History","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Alvarado","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp284490_orig.jpg?crop=291,291,x224,y444&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723573461532","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-lina-alvarado-history"},{"teacherId":9901844,"projectId":9714599,"letterContent":"On behalf of our high school Career and Technical Education (CTE) Engineering program, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude for your generous donation of soldering irons to our classroom.\r\n\r\nYour support provides our students with hands-on learning opportunities that are essential to developing real-world engineering and technical skills.
