It has given my students additional ways to connect with history, participate in learning, and feel supported throughout their school day. For students who find traditional reading and writing challenging, these resources provide another way to become involved and show what they understand.\r\n\r\nThe Epson EcoTank ink makes a difference in how students interact with historical information. Our technology does not always involve students looking at a screen. Sometimes, its greatest value is helping us put meaningful materials directly into their hands. Color printing allows us to provide political cartoons, propaganda posters, primary sources, maps, and activity materials that students can examine, annotate, and discuss together. Details such as colors, symbols, and facial expressions become easier to notice, helping students explain an artist's message and support their interpretations with evidence.\r\n\r\nHaving ink available also gives me the flexibility to prepare materials for different learning needs. I can print directions, role cards, and visual supports that help students approach a challenging task with more confidence. These materials support our History, Ethnic Studies, and AVID classes by making learning more accessible and giving students opportunities to work independently and collaboratively.\r\n\r\nThe sports radar gun and foam balls bring an exciting connection between technology, movement, and learning. The radar gun makes speed measurable, giving students a concrete number they can compare and discuss. It creates opportunities to practice making predictions, observing results, and thinking about how changes in technique affect performance. These skills connect to larger classroom conversations about measurement, efficiency, and the pressure to work faster during industrialization.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting aspects of these resources is the opportunity to take an active role in learning. Students can handle materials, participate in a challenge, contribute to a team, and connect an abstract idea to a physical experience. For students who are more comfortable participating through movement than speaking in front of the class, these activities offer an inviting starting point. A shared task gives them something concrete to discuss and a reason to contribute.\r\n\r\nThe pom poms add energy to activities connected to historical rallies, protest movements, and collective action. They give students a creative way to explore how groups communicate a message and build enthusiasm around a cause. Combined with historical evidence and reflection, these activities help students connect participation to the ideas behind an event.\r\n\r\nThe Chomps beef jerky sticks support another important part of learning: having enough energy to stay engaged. A snack during tutoring, project work, or an extended school day helps us create a welcoming space where students can continue working and feel cared for.\r\n\r\nYour donation helps me offer a classroom where students have more ways to participate, ask questions, and build confidence. Seeing their own work displayed around the classroom has given students a sense of pride and ownership in their learning. Instead of simply reading about history, they are creating something they can share with their classmates and be proud of.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating has also had a tremendous impact. Students use the wheel desk when they need a little more movement while working. This simple option helps students stay engaged, focused, and productive without disrupting the learning of others.\r\n\r\nOur calming corner chairs have been especially meaningful. When students feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or simply need a mental break, they have a designated place to pause, breathe, and reset. After taking that short break, students are often able to return to their work feeling calmer, refreshed, and ready to participate.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these resources have helped me build a classroom where students understand that learning can look different for everyone.
