This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school mission is to build Cougar Strong kids by providing STEM opportunities to Innovate, Create and Elevate. To continue to make the most of our FIRST LEGO League programs at our school, we need support materials for implementation in the classroom.
This 3D printer will energize our students' ideas and help them engineer, design, build, and create.
We need tools to support students' imaginations and help their ideas take shape by being able to create models with a 3D printer.
Using 3D printing in education offers a great way to spark creativity in ways that weren't possible before, especially in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). Providing a new way to teach also gives students an engaging new way to learn through hands-on experiences.
3D printers are helping to inspire a new generation of STEM learners by combining problem-solving skills with creativity and innovation by utilizing technology in a purposeful and meaningful way.
With 3D printers, teachers can create activities that take academic concepts from theoretical to practical. Active learning also ensures that pupils retain information with greater ease.
