My Project

My students love to learn new things: academic, STEM, and sports! Nothing is off limits! Recently, a new student has shared his love of soccer and now we all love it; however, the only equipment we have is 2 soccer balls that have seen better days.

When this project is funded, students will be able to have access to playing soccer on the recess yard, in the gym, and during physical education classes.

They will be so excited to play the game that is loved all over the world. Playing soccer will help students understand how to work as a team, support each other, and practice skills never learned and used before. I hope that learning this sport will boost physical well-being, improve coordination and focus, as well as teaching healthy competition through hard work and practice. Their love and skill for the sport could lead to high school and college team play. Watch out FIFA, hear we come!!
