My Students
I teach an incredible group of third and fourth grade special education students in Philadelphia! We are back in the classroom after a year of virtual and hybrid learning during the pandemic. They are an incredibly hard-working group of students, and I would love to be able to provide them with new learning tools!
My Project
As a special education teacher, I work with students in small groups and use conferences to meet with individual students. When I conference with students, the other students in the group need independent activities that will hold their attention. I want to find learning tools that are fun and engaging.
With this Power Pen, the kids will be able practice foundational reading skills in a self-correcting way!
This means that they will receive immediate feedback to know whether or not they are on track to meet their learning goals. This exciting tool will keep students motivated and contribute to our learning.
