Power of the Pen: Help Us Write Our Future

My English as Second Language Learners need writing supplies to be successful.

My Project

My ESOL high school students will use these writing supplies to grow their skills in English while exploring their voices through writing. They’ll use notebooks, pens, and other materials to practice vocabulary, write personal stories, reflect on their lives, and build confidence in a new language.

Writing is a powerful tool for language learners—it helps them process what they hear and read, and express what they think and feel.

These supplies will support daily writing activities like journals, sentence-building, creative storytelling, and structured academic writing.

Many of my students come to class without basic supplies, and something as simple as having their own notebook or colorful pens can motivate them and make them feel valued. Your support gives them the tools they need to succeed, communicate, and take pride in their learning.
