Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to school every day of the year ready to learn. Their minds are so busy that if I pause, they are elsewhere, trying to figure out something new. They have spent the last four months learning online with me and now we are in the classroom learning. Their parents bring them in every day trusting their students will learn. They are a very supportive parental group, though not always able to help financially.

My Project

These items would help prepare and make centers work for the year. Many of the items my students use to learn with need triple A batteries. They have different alphabet games that are powered by batteries. They love them but the batteries get costly. The other items for the project include a laminator for laminating center games and a the laminating sheets themselves. Since we use centers for reading and math I go through many pages of laminate. This way I can clean the centers before other groups use. These items would help so much. Thank you
