My Students
I teach a technology class to students in grades 2-5. We currently have a poster printer that we would like to use for both our technology lab as well as for our art classes in grades Pre-K through 5. Our students would love to be able to display their computer projects as well as their art projects
My students come from many backgrounds as do most of the children in the New York City public school system.
The students are hard workers who try to be as creative as possible with all the projects we bring to them. Our staff loves to display all the creative art and technology projects for the school and the parents to enjoy and critique in order to improve and grow in every way.
My Project
By obtaining the ink and paper we will be able to print our art projects digitally and display them around the school for all to share and enjoy. We have an art night every year in the late spring and I would love to help the art teachers by printing and displaying all the great art work the students created. Our older students lead the school projects, for example, school recycling programs, City Harvest Food Drive, and Campaign for Hunger and creating posters to mobilize our students and parents would help them feel more accomplished with their community service.
If we get the donations for this project the students will be able to print out all their technology and art projects for display around the school.
They will also be able to inform and mobilize our school with any of the food drives to help in collection for the hungry.
