We cannot thank you enough for your generosity! It has allowed for much engagement and enthusiasm in our Spanish classes. The materials arrived perfectly on time. It had been a while since the last \"Tienda\" shop had been opened and the students were ready to cash in on their tickets, which you also supplied. From the stickers, erasers, colorful pens to the bookmarks and notebooks, the students gleefully anticipate their turn to go to \"la tienda\" shop. They use their Spanish knowledge of numbers, and phrases like \"¿Cuanto cuesta?\" asking \"how much does it cost?\" , as well their polite terms of \"gracias\", \"por favor\", and wishing me a \"Buen Dia\" which is \"Have a good day.\" in Spanish.\r\n Included with the items I opted to add an experience for purchase with their tickets, which was also funded by your donations. We were able to add creating our own piñatas as experience, using Elmer's glue, and different colored streamers that were added to our order. Not only have the students been having a blast creating their very own piñatas, and learning about them, their practices, and perspectives connected culturally to them, but it has given me the opportunity to connect with students, get to know them better and the same is true for them to get to know me! I usually see the students once a week for about 40 mins, but that is over 450 students per week, which does not allow for much one on one time! This activity has gotten students motivated to participate during Spanish class so that they can earn enough tickets for the \"Piñata experience with Señora Whittaker!\" Thank you once again for transforming our Spanish classes so generously!","fullyFundedDate":1766837099182,"projectUrl":"project/and-the-winner-of-todays-rifa-is-e/9916220/","projectTitle":"And the Winner of Today's \"Rifa\" is...
