This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our students will be embarking on the Middle School Kindness Challenge next month. This has been a great success in the past. My urban school brings students from the neighborhood in every direction. We have a large population of ELL students.
We would love for them to be able to print posters for this challenge.
The students love being able to design and print their own work. Often these need to be done in one color and this would give us a chance to make some really great posters to use in our schools.
This would also help us to make a distribute Social and Emotional Learning materials to our school.
My Project
This printer would be used to make giant Kindness and Social and Emotional Learning posters for our school. It would provide color posters instead of the boring one color posters that we traditionally see in our school. This would enable us to make calendars that are actual readable for our students so that they may see kindness acts that they could participate in daily to enhance the lives of classmates and teachers. The printer would be an exceptional way to enhance our hallways and classrooms. This also gives students a way to express their creativity to create great posters for our walls.
