My Project

I teach in a Title I school that is located in an area where the majority of our students come from low income households. Over 50% of our students speak English as a second language, receive free/reduced meals and are unable to bring the basic required supplies to school. Although they may come from socially disadvantaged homes, our students have big hearts and are enthusiastic about learning new things.

With better incentives, students may feel more encouraged to do better in school.

This will have a positive impact on their morale and motivation. In return we would hope to see increased motivation, improvements in behaviors, and boosted quality and effort in achievements.
