Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My junior high students are full of energy, personality, and potential! They work hard and thrive in a classroom environment that is both welcoming and motivating. Recognizing their efforts—whether academic, behavioral, or social—is key to helping them grow into confident, responsible young adults.

To keep our classroom environment positive and inviting, I’m requesting a few items.

They include:

-Student prizes (small incentives like pencils, erasers, stickers, snacks, or fidgets) to reward good behavior, effort, and participation.

-Air fresheners to help maintain a clean, fresh-smelling space where students feel comfortable and focused.

These small touches go a long way in making our classroom a place where students want to be. When students feel appreciated and their environment is cared for, they’re more likely to stay engaged, respectful, and motivated.

A positive classroom culture doesn't happen by accident—it’s built intentionally, day by day. With your help, I can continue to create a space where students feel valued and encouraged. A few fun prizes and a fresh atmosphere may seem simple, but they can make a big difference in helping students feel good about themselves and their learning environment.

Thank you for supporting our classroom and helping us keep things both fun and fresh!
