This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me provide the tools my students need to run a marathon and improve their mental health. Many teens struggle with their mental health and are seeking out support.

Many experts suggest that consistent exercise and being a part of a community can improve ones mental health.

My students have chosen to join our marathon training group, SRLA, to do just this! Items such as socks and energy packs are helpful tools to help them get started. Wipes and sunscreen protects them while training. Cow bells and bubbles are used for celebrating and strengthening our teams bond! Please help me provide the supplies necessary to improve my students mental health through running!
