Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to make my classroom a supportive learning environment for students, and to do this I encourage positive student behavior. It is important to focus on rewarding students for the good choices they make.

Each year I purchase items like fidget toys, positivity cards, and candy to give out when I observe a student doing the right thing.

By helping me restock my supply, I can continue to provide incentives to my students.

I also make sure to celebrate each student on their birthday, knowing that not all of my students are celebrated at home, unfortunately. The items in this project help me restock my birthday box where they can choose an item to bring some brightness and positivity to their special day.

My goal is to make sure that every single one of my students knows that they are valued and cared about, and this helps me do that.
