My Students
Do you remember the first time a teacher gave you a sticker or small prize? How good it felt?
I teach Pre-Kindergarten to eighteen wonderful children in the New York City Area.
These children are so fun loving and full of life. Their smiles light up a room. We have a great school. One thing we are trying to focus more on is positive reinforcements. Many of these children come from homes with many problems and receive a lot of negativity. They deserve to have people tell them how great they are and give them a positive reinforcement once in a while.
My Project
You will help my class get stickers and small prizes to help them get recognize for their hard work in my class. I have such a wonderful class that I would love to use small rewards to reinforce such hard work. The work doesn't have to always to be correct, as long as they try and put there best effort into their work they will get rewarded.
You will make it possible for the children to feel good about themselves when they complete a task or a certain project.
Motivating students and boosting their self esteem is key in early childhood.
