My Students

I teach special education to children who have the most significant disabilities. My students are fourth- and fifth-grade boys and girls. Many of my students also live in extreme poverty. They respond best to positive reinforcement. Help me give them reading incentives.

My students are some of the most amazing people I have ever met.

They fight for every victory and deserve every opportunity to be successful. Please help us out!

My Project

My special education students often have trouble finding the motivation to reach and exceed reading goals in the second semester of school. Positive reinforcement works wonders! Kids light up at the chance to achieve special incentives. However, it proves difficult to afford on a budget. Buying incentives all year can be pricey for the teacher.

Fun incentives will get my students reading more than ever before.

Not only will reaching their reading goals be more fun, but they will see rewards for all their hard work. I will focus on rewarding my student for both small and large accomplishments.
