My Project

Now, more than ever, the students at Lahaina Intermediate School need a positive classroom environment. After experiencing social distancing and isolation due to COVID-19, I believe the students long for social contact. I want to make our students feel welcomed at our library by providing them comfortable seating when they are in the space that will allow them to learn. Additionally, I would like to provide them with healthy snacks so they know they are cared for. I would also like to provide our students with positive social-emotional and STEM activities like crafts and games so students can interact with each other.
