Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school encourages students to be leaders making positive choices, working hard, and leading by example. Incentives have a positive impact on a student's academic performance. Incentives can also help "boost" a student's confidence level and encourage hard work. It can be challenging to teach a class that is not motivated or has disruptive behavior, but positive incentives can create a motivating classroom environment. I am requesting granola bars, pencils, galaxy slime, and other rewarding incentives.

The incentives will provide rewards for students who demonstrate leadership skills by making positive choices, working hard, and leading by example.

As a teacher, I try to encourage and give intrinsic and extrinsic incentives for a job well done in the classroom. Students will be excited to do their best to earn prizes and incentives. Having incentives such as these will provide them with a goal to work hard and be more engaged.
