Help me give my students a chance to relax and create some paintings, jewelry, photo stands, and other crafty things. Being able to be free in expressing my creativity, build a positive way to express myself.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The paint will be used to paint clay pots that we will turn into photo stands. In these clay pots we will display memories, pictures, memorabilia, items of personal value to each individual student. We are seeing that through this we relive the memory in the item being displayed and the memory of creating this with peers. We will make friendship bracelets for new and old friends. It will help me look forward to having fun at school while at the same time doing my academics. My students will also do a group step by step painting while at the same time adding my own creative spin. I hope you can help in making this project a reality.
