My Project

In 2nd grade, there are a lot of new routines and procedures to learn and maintain. Students are becoming more independent, adding new learning routines, and are acquainting themselves with a new group of peers.

As my students come into a new grade and classroom space, having a variety of desirable incentives allows me to reward positive behavior, and effectively teach routines and expectations.

While some students love stickers, others love fidgets or small toys. This project would allow me to offer prizes that align with specific student interests. This motivates students to learn and follow expectations, and directly rewards desired behaviors, leading to a functioning classroom community ready for learning!
