My Project

This project will not only benefit my students, but all 300 students at our K4-5th grade school. All of our students deserve a school they can feel proud of. I teach in an urban elementary school in Wisconsin with a high poverty rate.

PBIS is a proactive approach schools use to improve classroom engagement and promote positive behavior.

I am requesting snacks and other small incentives for our PBIS rewards. PBIS leads to better student behavior. Kids that are on task and engaged also earn better grades. There is also some evidence that PBIS may lead to less bullying.
