This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One of the things that I have in my classroom is a class store. During the day, the students can earn Dojo points to use at the end of the week at the class store. I have a couple of different things that they could buy such as a prize, sit in a special chair for the day, a fifteen-minute break, lunch with me and a friend, and a whole class recess. Having this in place, motivates students to want to do their work and behave so they can buy the different things I offer. The items I put in my cart is to make the prize box more appealing.
