Our school is located in an urban, low poverty, and diverse area of Columbus, Ohio.
We support students from many different backgrounds including; New Guinea, Guatemala, Mongolia, Myanmar, Kenya, Honduras, Mexico, Somalia and many more. Our school is a melting pot of creative, accepting individuals who strive to work as a community with lots of love and compassion.
My Project
These materials will serve as positive rewards to students who have shown spectacular behavior throughout the school year. We are in an area where the students home lives are very unpredictable. So when the students are able to overcome their adversity and show outstanding citizenship it is cause for recognition and praise. These students deserve to have engaging rewards that will help them to grow socially and personally. These rewards are such that they would not have access to normally. We are requesting materials such as scooters, reading tablets, soccer balls and board games that will encourage students to continue their love for reading as well as encourage them to get outside and play.
These students are wonderful, charismatic, and vibrant.
They are facing the odds of poverty each and every day. Please help support our fostering of positive behavior and individual development.
