This coming school year I'll be moving up with my students, and I'll be their senior AP studio art teacher! I could not be more excited to have one more year with my Covid crew. Ap studio art is an endevor though, and artists are working both in the classroom and beyond in order to create the best artwork of their high school career.
We need portfolios and chipboard for each student so that they can safely transport thier artwork from the studio to home and back again.
Our AP studio art curriculum links directly into thier self-directed senior capstone, and they work on both simultaneously throughout the entire school year. This gives our student artists immense ownership over thier learning, and our kiddos really rise to the occasion.
With these portfolios, our students will have the ability to work beyond the school walls and really immense themselves in the process of learning and creating.
