My Students
This year my district is starting the school year off with distance learning! I teach at a low-income urban school and most of my students are performing below grade-level. Despite this, I am up for the challenge of this new platform and so far we are all thriving!
My students are doing very well with virtual learning, they're trying very hard to learn to navigate the digital world!
They love being competitive at the end of each lesson, they're also great at utilizing teamwork and positive talk when participating in class!
Regardless of the challenges, my class is full of smiles and laughs! Now we just need some supplies to keep them having fun while they learn!
My Project
We are doing virtual learning at least until February 2021. It has been going very well, however, I have some students who have expressed their need for a chair and table/desk that is small and portable because it is getting increasingly difficult for them to be on (and working) for hours a day from the bed.
Please help me provide two students with a portable chair and desk so they can work on classwork OFF of their beds!
There is minimal to no assembly needed and they can move these items anywhere in their house!
