Our school is quite unique! We are a small charter school located in a rural area of South Carolina. Our campus is surrounded by outdoor learning opportunities with walking trails, a lake, and ropes courses designed for team building and personal development. In addition to the many outdoor learning possibilities, our school embraces technology and student leadership.
Every child is excited to be a part of our school and are excited to learn!
The students in our school come from diverse backgrounds, areas, and various incomes. Students are supportive to their peers and genuinely want everyone them to succeed. It is in an amazing environment to teach. I want to be able to give these students the best opportunities to learn and thrive to ensure that each student's needs are are met right where they are!
My Project
There are so many changes for the upcoming school year, but students will always be the first priority. Having these lap desks will be very beneficial this year both inside the classroom and outside.
These lap desks will provide the students the ability to social distance and be comfortable while working.
I know my students will enjoy the flexibility of being able to work around the classroom and the ability to bring these desks outside to work. Since our school has many outdoor areas for students, these will be a perfect addition to our classroom.
