My Students

Our first-grade classroom is made up of 24 students from different ethnic backgrounds and from multiple living situations, from homeless to above poverty with more than 75% living at or below the poverty level. I believe every one of my students deserves the very best learning environment possible.

Even with high poverty in the classroom, my students come to school smiling and eager to learn and I want to be able to offer them the best because they are the best!

My Project

What I love about these flexible and portable seating laptop desks are they not only offer my students a flexible seating option that would make them feel more at home, but they also offer a desk to do their work on which is great!! These laptop desks will make a difference in my students learning by being able to offer them a non-traditional way to learn without having to sit at a standard desk with chair.

Flexible laptop desks would also provide a way for my students to move around the classroom and not be confined to one space; the student can work anywhere in the classroom.

These portable laptop desks will provide a way for my students to sit anywhere comfortably inside or outside while at the same time being able to work on a variety of standards including math, reading, writing and digital technology.
