Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to read, especially when they get to choose the books! We do Accelerated Reader, an online program used for reading comprehension, for students to read books of their choosing to earn points toward rewards, such as book tokens and more!
The books on this wish list are AR books that my students are interested in reading and have requested for our classroom library.
These books will directly impact students by giving them more choices for reading things that they are interested in. My school has a very high ELL population, and by providing popular books that they want to read in Spanish, I can foster a love for reading among even more students!
